Is it practice to use father’s gag?


テレビを見ていたらそんな事を言っている外国人がいました。
When I watch the T.V. program, some oversea parson said so.

彼は日本で建築の仕事をしているそうです。
He works at construction in Japan.

お気に入りのギャグは、『ソーリー、総理、阿部総理』だそうです。
His favorite gag is “sorry, president, Abe president”, “sori, sori, Abe sori”

同じ言い方で、意味が違うことが新しい言葉や、
Same pronunciation have different meaning, it bring new words and

新しい文化を知れるので日本語の勉強になると言っていました。
New culture, and it become study of Japanese.

今では、『親父ギャグ』ばかり言っているので、
Now he talk “father’s gag” always,

『もう、わかったよ・・・。』
“Ok, I see..”

と、呆れられているそうです。
He can be amazed.

訳すのが難しいので、あまり上手くは伝える事はできないかも知れないが、
It is difficult to translate; I can’t tell you smoothly,

『親父ギャグ』という呆れの対象となる風習でも、
“father’s gag” is custom of becoming object of amaze,

『お見事！素晴らしいよ！』
But, “amazing! It is wonderful.”

と言ってしまうほどの親父ギャグを言う人もいます。
Some people’s father’s gag is amazing.

あなたがもし、早く仕事に役に立てたいからと、
If you use the difficult Japanese

難しい日本語を使っているのなら、
for helping for your job,

先ずは基本的な事から実践してほしい。
First, please do the basic things.

・例えば、何故日本語を話さなければならないのか？
（マインドセット）
For example, why do you need to speak Japanese? , mind set,

・基本的なひらがな・カタカナからきちんと学ぶ。
Learn from Hiragana, Katakana in basic.

・意味を理解して言葉を使う。
To use the word with understand.

などなど。
Etc.

そうしないと、せっかく覚えた親父ギャグも笑ってもらえないからね（笑）
If you don’t do so, your father’s gag which remembered with great pains can’t gain laughter.

何事にも基本からやらないと、
Every thing have to do from the basic,

何時になっても応用は利かないって事
Whenever you become it, the application is not effective.


だから、日本語を話せれば良いって思わないで、
So, please do not think it is ok to speak Japanese,

是非、ひらがなやカタカナ、漢字を習得して欲しい。
By all means, I want you to learn Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji.

そうすれば、きっと心から笑えるギャグを
If you do so, maybe you could say father’s gag

言うことができるようになりますよ。
With laugh from the bottom of your hearts.
